Our Story

In 2006, Children’s Therapy Center (CTC) launched a home-based early intervention program to complement the exceptional center-based services they had been providing since 1979.

Skilled and passionate pediatric therapists, teachers and family resources coordinators established South King Early Intervention Program (SKIP) with the objective of providing high-quality comprehensive Early Intervention services for children with special needs age birth to three.  In support of evidence-based best practice, these services would be provided in each child’s natural environment, including their home, daycare, and other community settings in which they live, learn, and play. 

Today, CTC and SKIP continue to function as partners that collaborate in many important ways to enhance effectiveness and increase the options available to kids and families.
